Name: Loggerhead sea turtle

Interesting fact: A large turtle: adults weigh 200 to 350 pounds and measure about 3 feet in length
Diet: The loggerhead sea turtle eats mainly on bottom dwelling invertebrates such as sea anemones, barnacles, sea cucumbers, starfish, fish eggs and sometimes even hatchling turtles which are members of its own species! But when swimming in Open Ocean it will eat jellyfish, floating molluscs, floating egg clusters, squid, and flying fish.

Interesting fact: Spotted eagle rays are often observed cruising close to the surface. They are also known to "porpoise" - or leap - out of the water.

Interesting fact: A lionfish will often spread its feathery pectoral fins and herd small fish into a confined space where it can more easily swallow them.
